Blog 9: Changes to my Study Programme

Hello dear reader! I tell you that I am finishing writing the last post of English and that is why today I will talk about some changes to my study programme.

As one of the main points about my career, I consider it important that all the pedagogies are within the same faculty and not divided by the campus, so that we can listen to more our opinion.

If I could, I would put a cafeteria in the Faculty of Social Sciences, where we could buy lunch.

Within the University I have found teachers who really show that they love their work and do it with dedication and passion. I think the teaching method is good, but some teachers could improve on that.

About my curriculum map, something I like a lot is that we can have practices from the first semester and to know if we really like something related to children.

I think that there are many years of studies, but that each year is worth it, because every day I'm learning new things.

If I could, I would put more elective on contingent issues.

In these three semesters that I have studied, I have had problems with certain subjects, but nothing that can not be solved.

Regarding the use of technology, I think there is a lack of training for the teachers themselves, so that they can perform better in that area.

My life Hello everyone!! My full name is Francisca Ignacia Silva Martinez, but you can call me Fran. I´m 19 years old and I was born on 19 th of July in 1999 on Santiago of Chile. My family is composed for 4 people: My mom Virginia, my brother Elías, my grandmother Rosa and me. The days Thursday I prepare a group of little girls to her “Primera Comunión” in the church that I assist. I like to listen music, to get out with my boyfriend and spend time with my family . My volunteering Hello everybody! Today I gonna tell you about a volunteering that I participe on winter and summer vacations.   I’ll start tell you that my agrupation name’s “Colonias Urbanas”, it was created in 1978, but in our church “Nuestra Señora del Monte Carmelo”, ubicate in Pedro Aguirre Cerda, it started in 2011. This agrupation works with poor kids during the vacations, making differents kinds of activities like games and education. Here we wrok with children between 5 to 13 years old, where all day (from 10:00 to 18:00) they realize differents activities. In the morning we make games and in the afternoom we teach about recycling, children's rights, to cook, teather, etc. We give breakfast, lunch and snack. This activity lats 2 weeks and is free for children. Us way of work is making grups for ages and I always prefer to stay with the littler. If you like to work with children and help, do not hesitate to go to some this volunteering. See you next

Evaluation of my blogging experience Hello everyone! This is my last post of this year. Today I’m going to talk about my experience using blog in the English, I think that this is a good tool, at the beginning it was complicated, because I have never used this app before, but in general, I think that’s a way funnier to write and practice the English. With each publication I learned something different about my classmates. What I did not like about blogs was when someone did not publish on time, so I was also late for comments. In the future I would like to include that everyone can choose what they want to write in their publication , it could be about, some book, her holidays, any fun experience, whatever. In a following post I would like to tell you about my plans for this vacation, where I will make a “Escuela de Verano”, then I will go for a walk with my boyfriend and also I will do “Colonias Urbanas” that is the volunteer that I spoke to them in my post number f
